Our Weekly Football Academies have been a major success with over 1000 children already coached and registration continues to grow. Parents and teachers realise that children should be encouraged in all sports and that playing any sport helps a child reveal their true character. B.E.S.T. Sports and Youth Development is a professional, certified, organised and diligent sports coaching company.  We have internationally recognised and experienced coaches working in small groups with your children.

Each week we visit clubs, halls and pitches with our goal to improve and develop your child in a fun, friendly and safe atmosphere.

So What Happens in the Academies?

Firstly, all players register, then after a period of ball manipulation and warm ups, the coaches run through inclusive games and skills to help improve every player. In the older age groups, players are given more techniques and skills to work on ,in relation to their age and may also take part in game practice etc. Finally, the players are asked to recap the activities undertaken and advised by our professional coaches on how to improve for the following week. Equally important to the content above, is the manner in which each child is treated; with respect, optimism, discipline and a smile.

 

Venues

In 2009 we will be embarking on our biggest year to date with more venues than ever before and offering children their chance to shine as we put the fun back into football. If you would like us to get involved in your local community please get in touch with your local hall supervisor and ask them to contact us. We are always looking for more venues.

 

Academy Player Kit

This year sees the introduction of the B.E.S.T. Academy Player Kit, produced by O Neill’s Sportsware. This limited edition kit (Socks, Shorts and Jersey) is made from the new breathable material engineered by O Neill’s for the "Professional Athlete". So no matter what your child’s skill level, they can look and feel like a superstar. We also have a range of hoodies, rain jackets and academies player packs suitable for birthdays or special events. (ask your local coach).
